Annual Giving Update

As of January 22, we have received 83 pledges for 2013—including 10 new pledgers.  This is 86% of the total number of pledges (96) received for 2012.  We certainly expect more pledges to arrive in the next weeks and encourage anyone who has not made their pledge to do so as soon as possible.  The current total received is $205,226.  Last year’s total was $232,013.

Coffee Hour hosts are needed for the new year!

Please sign up online here.

Please don't forget our neighbors on the street. New dry socks are essential for this time of year. We have many weekday requests for snacks and canned self-opening food items as well. Remember to save hotel toiletries from your travels this summer. All donations are greatly appreciated.

A Year to Collect Valuables

It’s never too early to make donations for next spring’s German Village Valuables sale.  Items can be dropped off at the Church or contact Kent Phillips or Bill Bronson for pickup details.

IN THE GARDEN: Thanks and a "Wish List"!

As we move into 2013 , In The Garden appreciates the cnt6ributions of so many who have made this outreach program grow and flourish! This past Sunday Scott and Harriet Donaldson, Hal Duryee, and Scott McKinley joined together to present a wonderful meal for 138 diners. The meal on January 6 was provided by the folks at St. John's - Worthington, and next Sunday's meal will be provided by the Grove City High School Key Club! Several empty dates remain open for the year; however, so if anyone wants to become a food provider or volunteer, please contact any of the Core Team ( Deniray Mueller, Chiseko Hamisi, Lori Dhiraprasiddhi, Bill Bronson, Debbie Wiedwald, or Karen Peeler).
During the winter we have depleted our supplies of toiletries and survival supplies, so if any of you can provide any of the following, either from your travels, house-cleaning, or visits to the Dollar Store, please know they are much needed and appreciated by the ITG folks who live on the land:
1. toilet paper, personal hygiene articles
2. Shampoo, soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, razors, deodorant
3. candles, matches, blankets,
4. coats, gloves, socks, woolen scarves, underwear
5. boxed and canned foods (especially with pop-tops)

flowersAltar Decoration Memorials
