itgThank to all of those who generously gave underwear and socks for our ITG Christmas backpacks.  We distributed a hundred of them Dec. 18, chock full of toiletries, clothing, and Christmas cookies!
CURRENT NEEDS:  we are in good shape for toiletries right now except for toilet paper, so buy some extra for ITG if you think of it!  We also are in need of coffee so when you shop , if you  can, buy an extra pound of so for ITG!
VOLUNTEERS!  And we need YOU!  Several people have had to leave the Core team of ITG lately, and we are desperately in need of committed people to keep this ministry alive and flourishing. If you want to know more about participating in ITG in the future, please contact Lori Dhiraprasiddhi or Father Burnett.

Winter is here!

There are more people living outside than ever before in Columbus and they are cold and hungry. Trinity once again is a warming station on weekdays for those who need shelter from the cold. Our visitors need men’s hats, men’s gloves and new athletic socks. They also need self-opening snack items. If you have men’s winter coats and jackets not in use, please bring them to church as well. Most of our visitors do not have warm clothing. Your continuing generosity is a blessing to many.
Thank you so much!
Diane Donato

Mount Carmel Hospice Volunteering 101

If you are interested in becoming a hospice volunteer whether at the bedside or behind the scenes, join us for a special panel discussion.  A group of Mount Carmel Hospice volunteers will discuss their roles and contributions then answer your questions. The session can help you find the best way to serve your community at end-of-life.  Please join us on February 7 from 1 pm to 2 pm or on February 21 from 6 pm to 7pm at the Mount Carmel Hospice and Palliative Care Center.  Register by calling 234-LIFE (5433).

Altar Decoration Memorials

If you would like to place a flower memorial or thanksgiving in the Sunday bulletin, contact Diane Donato in the Parish Office via email or at 221-5351.  A donation of $50 is suggested, but any reasonable amount will be accepted.  Only a few dates are spoken for currently.

We remember in prayer...

We remember all who work for peace around the world: for Capt. Kristian Tonnessen,  Petty Officer Kristy Sizemore, Jordan Sellman, Cynthia Epler, Matt Schumann, Captain Scott Whaley, Gunnery Sergeant Robert A Griffith Jr., and all who serve our country.
Holy Heart of Jesus Armenian Catholic Church, Eastern Karada, Baghdad, Iraq
Praying for peace around the world, we continue to ask God for a deeper compassion and greater courage to offer help to refugees and migrants and all in need.
We renew our commitments to serve the neediest and most easily forgotten in our midst and remember all who are homeless and hungry in our city today.  We give thanks for the generous hospitality offered this afternoon at In The Garden, and pray for the Holy Spirit’s abundant grace in our fellowship.
We pray for all who are sick or suffering at this time – Tracy Lind, Marjorie Holzer , Fr. Frank Fortkamp, Eleanor Johnson, Elizabeth Lilly, Shelley Miller, Tom & John, Mary Beittel, Sean Lalik, Jeff McNealey, Walter Friedmann, Sonia Cardenas, Kay Sturm, John Sanders,  Leah Lake, Pauline Austin, Jonie Johnson, Dick Oman, Sharon Whaley, David and Tyra and all in prison, and others whom we name silently or aloud.
As we celebrate Trinity’s 200th anniversary, we give thanks for those who worshipped at Trinity in the 1860s, including Mary Wing, Maria Wells and George Wheeler.
Birthdays:    Jeff McNealey, Sloan Coffin, Jane Gibbs
We pray for Fr. Jason M. Prati, new rector of All Saints Church to be installed on Saturday, February 11.
