ITGJan. 10: "An Update on In The Garden"

After nearly nine years of continuous operation, In the Garden has grown and changed a lot from Joe Mazza's original vision into a singular ministry of Trinity Church for downtown Columbus.  Come and learn more about what ITG is doing now, how it operates, who we serve, and what our hopes for the future are.  Karen Peeler, The Rev. deniray mueller, and others that work closely with ITG will be there to share latest information and relate their personal experiences.  There will also be a short "orientation" for those who want to begin participating more fully as volunteer hosts for this unique and transformative outreach ministry of Trinity Church.

Jan. 17: Getting to know Policy Matters Ohio

Our fourth-floor Parish House partners discuss the most recent policy reports on working families, State of Ohio tax credit police, and social inequality effecting tens of thousands of our statewide neighbors.

Jan. 24: COHHIO update

Deacon Douglas Argue, COHHIO (Coalition on Homelessness and Housing in Ohio) managing director, will give an update on their critical work advocating for a more just and humane  policy for at-risk Ohio citizens.

Disposable Diapers are always in demand

Please don't forget our neighbors on the street. Candles, diapers, and new dry socks are essential for this time of year. We have many weekday requests for snacks and canned self-opening food items as well. Remember to save hotel toiletries from your travels. All donations are greatly appreciated.

flowersAltar Decoration Memorials

We remember all who work for peace around the world, and especially this day we pray for our nation and other international partners discerning war and peace and wisdom in this time of terror and violence. Remembering friends and family members related to this community, we pray for Specialist Hannah Stout, Petty Officer Kristy Sizemore, Cynthia Epler, Matt Schumann, Captain Scott Whaley, Gunnery Sergeant Robert A Griffith Jr., and all who serve our country.
For peace in a war torn world, especially in Syria; Iraq and Iran. As we prepare to celebrate the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ who was born to a refugee family in poverty long ago, may God give us renewed compassion and greater courage to offer hope and help to refugees and all in need.
We renew our commitments to serve the neediest and most easily forgotten in our midst and remember all who are homeless and hungry in our city today.  We give thanks for the generous hospitality offered this afternoon at In The Garden, and pray for the Holy Spirit’s abundant grace in our fellowship.
We pray for all who are sick or suffering at this time – Henry Webster, Lucia Benaquisto , Pauline Austin, Linda Burton, Ava Guglielmi, Jonie Johnson, Dick Oman, Dave Mozano,  Jan Heston, Frances Bennekamper, Gayle Nash,  Jayla Kennedy, Sharon Whaley, Hal Duryee, David and those in prison and others whom we name silently or aloud.
