BREAD Listening SessionsThis Sunday, October 5, at 9:15 a.m. and next Sunday, Oct. 12 at 9:15 a.m. & Noon, in the Parish Library.
BREAD uses a four-step process to surface and win issues of justice:
- Listen to members in 1-1’s, house meetings and town hall meetings in order to surface community problems for research and action
- Research the problems to identify workable solutions
- Gather a large number of people, in order to show power and get the attention of a public official to work on the solution
- Follow-through on the public commitments in order to ensure that there is action to address the problem

Artist (and Trinity member) Renate Fackler has an installation of bronze sculptures there that are not to be missed. Gather for lunch at the Rusty Bucket in new Albany as soon as possible after church then join with Renate as she leads us through her exhibition and discusses her works. October 18th at 6:00 PM Calling all artists, writers, and performers to participate in a special dinner in preparation for EASE Gallery’s Spring community project, a show and book, which will be entitled “Trespasses": Trespass is a very old idea, and although it’s often seen negatively it can lead to beauty and revolutions in understanding. Sometimes we need other people to trespass into our private preserves of thought and belief, and into our carefully curated ways of doing things.
