Trinity's Emily Pucker is graduating from The Diocese of Southern Ohio's SOLLI class. This Saturday, May 19, at 10:30 in the chapel at Procter Camp, the class will be honored during a celebration of Holy Eucharist. The purpose of SOLLI (Southern Ohio Lay Leadership Initiative) is to train lay leaders for effective service in congregations, the Diocese, the local community, and ecumenical agencies. German Village Garage Sale:

This Saturday, May 19, Trinity again will be setting up shop in front of the Duryee’s home at 925 City Park.  If you have anything to donate for the sale, please drop it off anytime before Friday.  Simply bring the items to church weekdays before 2 p.m. and Sexton Tom Belcher will be happy to collect them from you.
Bill Bronson is coordinating the sale this year and is asking for volunteers to assist with the sale from 7:00 a.m. through 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.  Please contact Bill at 354-3753.

Trinity's Lay Weeders will also be setting up a Plant Sale in German Village near the Duryee's home on Saturday morning.

Please don't forget our neighbors on the street. New dry socks are essential for this time of year. We have many weekday requests for snacks and canned self-opening food items as well. All donations are greatly appreciated.


The next opportunity for Trinity to serve at the St. John's His Place Dinner is Wednesday, May 16. 1003 W. Town Street, Columbus. Please plan to arrive at 5:30 with cleanup usually finished by 7:30. Speak with Bill Bronson for more details 354-3753.

Altar Decoration Memorials

If you would like to place a flower memorial or thanksgiving in the Sunday bulletin, you can now sign up online here, or contact Diane Donato in the Parish Office via email or at 221-5351.  A donation of $50 is suggested, but any reasonable amount will be accepted.  Only a few dates are spoken for currently.


We pray for all who are sick or suffering at this time –Bill Warren, Chiseko Hamisi, John Johnson, Robert Milbery, Emma Parey, Jodi Park, Carrie Stowers, Joanne Giroux, and others whom we name silently or aloud.
We pray for Captain Andrew Saik, Capt. Brian Smith, Marcus Hill, Jordan Sellman, Ted Abad, Private Dan Williamson, Cynthia Epler, Matt Schumann, Commander Scott Whaley, Specialist Michael A. Martin, Staff Sgt. Robert A Griffith Jr.
We remember all who work for peace around the world, especially in Nigeria, Iraq, Egypt, Syria, Iran and Israel, Afghanistan, Pakistan and South Sudan.
And we still our hearts and turn our prayers today to the poorest and the most easily forgotten in our midst . . . praying especially for all who will visit Trinity this afternoon and worship at In The Garden, and the many in need of food and lodging.  We ask for vision to see the needs of our neighbors, hear the cries of the poor, and respond with courage and with love.
