June is Pride MonthThe Columbus Pride March is June 22. We will begin the day with a Eucharist at Trinity on Capitol Square at 10 a.m., lineup is at 11 a.m. and step-off is at 12 noon.
Why march? Marching in a pride parade will show that you support the GLBTQ persons sitting in your church, your friend, your brother, your sister, mother, father and child. When a GLBTQ person sees a member of his or her congregation marching, they know they are marching for them and for equality; marching is another way of support. We as a church, live equality; we have GLBTQ: members, priests, deacons, choir directors and bishops. When we march, we are showing that our church is living equality in Christ. Please march with us and for us. For questions contact David Soland at Dsoland74@yahoo.com or 614.282.9293
