Trinity parishioners are always good to help keep our In The Garden friends supplied with personal toiletry items, and so once again we are asking that to remember our friends as you short and travel.  We are especially in need of the following:  toothpaste, razors, deodorant, toilet paper, socks, and underwear. We are in good shape right now with soap and shampoo, but will gladly accept whatever you might have! You can leave items in the church office or in the kitchen at Trinity.  Thanks in advance for your help!

Bishop Edmond Lee Browning,

the 24th presiding bishop of the Episcopal Church, died on July 11, 2016. He was 87 years old and was living in Oregon.  More here.

Help us celebrate Trinity’s bicentennial in 2017

Our 2017 bicentennial is an opportunity to recommit to what is best about Trinity and to making our congregation even better and stronger for those that follow.
Trinity’s Bicentennial Planning Committee has begun to focus on themes that reflect our history and values and to consider programs and events that are possible in terms of time, talent and treasure. We have formed several subcommittees to help plan our bicentennial celebration: historical, marketing/outreach, musical, social and visual.
If you are interested in joining one of the subcommittees, please share your name, email address and phone number to A planning committee member will be in touch to let you know about upcoming meetings.

We remember all who work for peace around the world, and especially this day we pray for our nation and other international partners discerning war and peace and wisdom in this time of terror and violence. Remembering friends and family members related to this community, we pray for Capt. Kristian Tonnessen, Specialist Hannah Stout, Petty Officer Kristy Sizemore, Cynthia Epler, Matt Schumann, Captain Scott Whaley, Gunnery Sergeant Robert A Griffith Jr., and all who serve our country.

We renew our commitments to serve the neediest and most easily forgotten in our midst and remember all who are homeless and hungry in our city today.  We give thanks for the generous hospitality offered this afternoon at In The Garden, and pray for the Holy Spirit’s abundant grace in our fellowship.
We pray for all who are sick or suffering at this time – Walter Friedmann, Patty Tessler, Sonia Cardenas, Kay Sturm, Frances & John Sanders, Suzanne Leslie, Leah Lake, Lucia Benaquisto , Pauline Austin, Jonie Johnson, Dick Oman, Jan Heston, Sharon Whaley, David and those in prison and others whom we name silently or aloud.
