During the summer,  the Sunday School will be working on small tasks in the garden in the front of the Trinity.  We will listen to and try to learn this song which has a very catchy tune so if you hear us humming, hum along!  Or take a listen to Garden Song here and learn it!
PETE SEEGER "Garden Song"
Inch by inch, row by row,
Gonna make this garden grow.
Gonna mulch it deep and low,
Gonna make it fertile ground.
Inch by inch, row by row,
Please bless these seeds I sow.
Please keep them safe below
'Til the rain comes tumbling down.

During the Rector’s Vacation, July 17 through Aug 7, the Rev. Marjorie Menaul will be available to the parish for any pastoral concerns.  Please call the Parish Office 221-5351 and if necessary leave a voice mail for Diane Donato who will forward your massage to Marjorie.  She will preside and preach on Sunday mornings during this period.

Future Trinity & Jazz

For further discussion and fellowship, members of the Future Trinity will be gathering at the Barcelona Restaurant 263 E. Whittier St. in German Village on August 3 from 7-9 p.m. to enjoy the cool jazz of the Jacob Reed trio. Jacob is a parishioner of Trinity Church, occasionally providing drumming for our morning liturgies. All members of the congregation are encouraged to come take part in the fellowship and enjoy Jacob's wonderful music.

This picture shows Jacob (center) drumming during a recent diocesan convention.

Trinity to form Flower Guild...

FlowersA group of parishioners interested in creating floral decorations for the church is being formed. Experience is not necessary, but a creative eye (or willingness to try) and desire to serve is. Training days will be held in the early fall. Contact Kent Phillips for more details and to sign on for this new ministry.

flowersAltar Decoration Memorials

Disposable Diapers are always in need

Please don't forget our neighbors on the street. Candles, diapers, and new dry socks are essential for this time of year. We have many weekday requests for snacks and canned self-opening food items as well. Remember to save hotel toiletries from your travels. All donations are greatly appreciated.
