|During the summer, the Sunday School will be working on small tasks in the garden in the front of the Trinity. We will listen to and try to learn this song which has a very catchy tune so if you hear us humming, hum along! Or take a listen to Garden Song here and learn it!
PETE SEEGER "Garden Song"
Inch by inch, row by row,
Gonna make this garden grow.
Gonna mulch it deep and low,
Gonna make it fertile ground.
Inch by inch, row by row,
Please bless these seeds I sow.
Please keep them safe below
'Til the rain comes tumbling down.

THIS WEEK WE REMEMBER IN PRAYER:We pray for all who are sick or suffering at this time –Betty Staub, B. J. Artrup, Walter Olmstead, Darryl Gless, Sharon Whaley, John Brewster, Jenny Treasure, Amelia Lewis, Heather and Jason Bailey, Deb McHugh, Jon Nusbaum, Carol Burns, The Rev. Elizabeth Lilly, Marjorie Dotson, Hal Duryee, Michael McKinley, Bob Park and others whom we name silently or aloud.
We pray for Petty Officer Kristy Sizemore, Cynthia Epler, Jordan Sellman, Matt Schumann, Commander Scott Whaley, Gunnery Sergeant Robert A Griffith Jr., and all who serve our country.
We remember all who work for peace around the world, especially in the Middle East and the Ukraine. We pray for all Christians throughout the world who are persecuted on account of their faith and especially for those Christians in Egypt, Syria, and Iraq.
Lord Jesus Christ, beloved son of God, whose parents fled with you across the border of a foreign land where you might live, we pray to you for the immigrant children. Give consolation to those who are in detention centers awaiting their future. Give hope to their families beyond the borders, as they wait for news of the destiny of their children. Inspire legislative leaders to develop wise and clear policies in the midst of a complex reality. And teach us to follow your example of caring for the neighbor in concrete forms, as you did with the persons most vulnerable among us. All this we ask, because of your great love. Amen.
We renew our commitments to serve the poorest in our midst and remember all who are homeless and hungry in our city today. We give thanks for the generous hospitality offered this afternoon at In The Garden, and pray for the Holy Spirit’s abundant grace in our fellowship.
