Explorers’ Class forming

The Rector will be leading two Saturday explorers’ classes in preparation for confirmation into the Episcopal Church.  Classes will be held Saturday, August 17 and September 14.  Bishop Breidenthal will be with us for confirmation on Sunday, September 29.  Contact the Rector for details.

Bob Saik's niece, Crista Miller, will be playing an organ concert at Saint John's Worthington, this Sunday, August 4, at 2:00 PM.  The concert is free but a free will offering will be taken. Details here.

Please don't forget our neighbors on the street. New dry socks are essential for this time of year. We have many weekday requests for snacks and canned self-opening food items as well. Remember to save hotel toiletries from your travels. All donations are greatly appreciated.

flowersAltar Decoration Memorials

If you would like to place a flower memorial or thanksgiving in the Sunday bulletin, you can now sign up online here, or contact Diane Donato in the Parish Office via email or at 221-5351.  A donation of $50 is suggested, but any reasonable amount will be accepted.  Only a few dates are spoken for currently. Welcome Bags For All Visitors

Do you know that small, colorful  welcome bags, containing information about Trinity are available in the entrance of the church each Sunday for visitors?  We hope that some of these visitors will return and regularly join us. You can take an important role in welcoming visitors to Trinity by greeting people who you don't know. Even if they are long-standing members who you don't know,  you will lose nothing by sharing a friendly exchange! For those who are new, offer them a welcome bag, explaining that it contains information about our Church. The Sunday School prepares the  gift bags and stores them in the cupboard inside the Broad Street entrance so they are readily available for ushers to place at the entrance to the Church.
Since its inception about 3 months ago, we have welcomed about 90 people with our greetings and gift bags.  Please help this program be successful!

St. Stephen’s at OSU will be hosting an art show by Kent Phillips

Opening Friday, August 23.  All are invited to the opening reception at 7:00 p.m. on the 23rd
